Dr. Jennie Ozan, Psy.D.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I received my doctoral degree from the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University in 2006. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan in 2001.
I take a compassionate, collaborative, and integrative approach with my clients. I strive to create a comfortable and inclusive therapy environment. My therapy approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and insight-oriented treatments. I utilize a Health at Every Size approach to my work with clients with eating disorders, striving to challenge diet culture and instead working toward intuitive eating and size inclusivity.
I work with young adults and adults with a range of presenting concerns including eating disorders, mood, and anxiety disorders. I also have extensive experience treating those with school and career concerns, new college graduates, and people facing life transitions. I enjoy working with people around identity development and with clients who are in the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked with many clients dealing with infertility, perinatal and/or postpartum depression and anxiety, and parenting challenges.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my spouse, my two girls, and my cat. To relax, I like doing the daily crossword puzzle, taking walks, and baking with my daughters.
I am in-network with BCBS PPO insurance plans and serve clients 18+. I see clients T-Fri 8am-5pm. In addition to being licensed in Illinois and New York, I am also credentialed under PSYPACT to provide telehealth in most states: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap.
